Tupendane Foundation and Initiatives (TUFOI) is pleased to share its 2025 Newsletter, highlighting a year of growth and impact across education, sustainability, and community empowerment.

Key highlights:

  • Education: 116 vulnerable pupils sponsored at Bethlehem Star School — fees, transport, uniforms, learning materials, accommodation, plus 300 chairs & dining tables, textbooks, food supplies, washing machine, 2 laptops, 5 iPads, and musical instruments
  • Solar Power: Modern solar system installed in partnership with Sopowerful (Netherlands) — reliable electricity for classrooms, dormitories, water pumping, evening studies, laundry, printing, and school operations
  • Clean Water: Borehole completed — benefits 481+ students, 34 staff members, and nearby community households with improved sanitation, hygiene, and daily living conditions
  • Environment: 1,000 indigenous medicinal tree seedlings raised and distributed in Mukuru Village, with awareness activities on environmental conservation and traditional medicine

Looking ahead to 2026:

  • Expand educational and community programs
  • Strengthen partnerships and fundraising
  • Improve digital monitoring systems
  • Support community-led development
  • Increase environmental sustainability projects
